Biological principle¡G
Small amount of distilled water was added into a mortar and the petals of rose
was grinded. Subsequently, vinegar, water and sodium hydrogen carbonate was
added respectively into the extract (rose juice). Different colour was observed.
It was because the extract contained a weak organic acid which turned into
different colour in different pH.
