Newly Arrived Children / 新來港學童

  • Newly arrived children are urged to apply as soon as possible on arrival.
    新到港學童抵港後應盡快提交申請
  • They will need to produce their HKID card and travel documents for inspection to make sure they can attend the public school.
    他們需要出示其香港身份證和有效旅行證件，以確保合乎申請入讀津貼中學的資格
  • Admission and entry level will be determined by the interview and the performance of the applicants in the entrance examination. Each of the tests (i.e. English, Mathematics and Chinese tests) is one hour long.

  • Chinese language is a compulsory subject for all students at the College. Non-Chinese students who can follow the local curriculum are encouraged to sit for the local HKDSE exam. The others will be prepared for the GCSE Chinese exam. According to the College policy, only English and Chinese are to be used in the classroom for learning and interaction.

  • Subjects other than Chinese language will be taught through the medium of English. Students may get extra support from teaching assistants who can speak English, Urdu, Nepali, or Arabic , respectively.
